5th Global Vertical Farming Show – GVF 2024 DUBAI

From September 10 to 11, 2024, the 5th edition of the Global Vertical Farming Show will be held at the Le Meridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre. Vertical farming has become increasingly important in enhancing food production, maintaining high-quality crops, and contributing to sustainable urban agriculture. Consequently, it plays a crucial role in boosting food security worldwide.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, vertical farming demonstrated exceptional growth, driven by the increased demand for locally grown organic food. Investors find the sector attractive due to its ability to address two of the most pressing issues: food insecurity and climate change.

Traditional farming requires a lot of land and water, while vertical farming needs only a fraction of those resources and increases production per acre. Another advantage is that vertical farming can produce crops year-round. There is growing interest in vertical farming worldwide, with massive facilities already operating in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, and new projects being announced regularly.

Esnad will attend the show alongside its official partner, KE Fibertec, at booth E107. During the exhibition, they will share insights on how to create a good indoor climate with ventilation systems based on Textile air distribution ducts within vertical farming setups.

Thanks to the high degree of flexibility, customized solutions, and the Green Duct brand—one of the agricultural solutions products of our strategic partner KE Fibertec—we can provide efficient air exchange tailored to any type of indoor farming application, particularly vertical farming systems.
